Just because fall has arrived doesn’t mean we can’t wear skirts! I recently came across this amazing mustard colored corduroy skirt and totally fell in love! This skirt is perfect for fall, not only because of the color but also because of the texture. As soon as I picked it up I thought about so many different ways I could style this skirt, and I thought I would share with you the looks I came up with!

For the first look I decided to go for a more everyday look. I paired the skirt with a light cream-colored mesh top with crochet lace detailing. For shoes I added my go to neutral colored Steve Madden slip ons. When deciding on accessories I didn’t want to do too much because the top had such beautiful detail, I just added a thin gold choker and some simple stud earrings.

Moving on the second look, I put together something night-time appropriate. I started with the same corduroy skirt and paired it with a black flowy crisscross top from Free People, and finished the look off with a leather jacket and strapy chunky heels.

I wanted my last outfit to be something that I can throw on if I’m running an errand or I wanted to just be comfortable. Again, I started with the same skirt and added a lightweight grey sweater top. This sweater caught my attention because of the details on the sleeves, the are snitched in toward the elbows, which I think makes this outfit look a little more put together rather than just wearing a sweater and a skirt. I added my current favorite baseball hat, my super comfortable Adidas sneakers and simple black choker.
