Hi guys! So I recently went to Tulum in Mexico and I have to say I completely fell in love! The people, the food and the sceneary were all so amazing! Packing was definitely one of the hardest things I had to do! So I put together my travel essentials to hopefully help you when traveling!

Currency Exchange: If you are traveling out of the country and the place you are going uses a different currency then what you use, I highly suggest to do the currency exchange. I traveled with Mexico’s currency which is pesos and it was so helpful, since most of the places didn’t take credit/ debit cards.

Bags/ Purses: Depending on where you’re going and what you’re doing I suggest bringing a bag or purse that goes with multiple outfits. I bought one backpack as my person bag and I used it when I went on excursions. I also bought a straw purse that i took with me to lunches and dinner. It was a natural tan color so it went with all my outfits.

Skincare: When you are traveling your skin may react different (may get dry/ oily or you may have texture). I bought a travel size skincare products to help my skin stay balanced and clear. This also includes lip balm! You don’t want to get sunburnt lips!! Ouch!

Portable Charger: This was important for me to bring! Of course I wanted to take pictures of everything I saw and I was out of my room all day and didn’t have anywhere to charge my phone! So for me, my portable charger came in handy! If you don’t have one I high suggest you get one!!

Fashion Tape: This is totally random but with the flowy loose top trend, this is a must! I literally used my fashion tape everyday! It just helped me feel secure without having to worry about anything slipping out!

Bathing suits: Bringing bathing suits is an essential when traveling, but what I like to do is use them as tops. If i knew I was going to the beach or anywhere I had to wear a bathing suit, I would wear my bathing suit top as an actual top. I would pair it with a some cute high-waisted shorts. Currently super cropped tops are so trendy so my bathing suit top looked like a regular top.
