Hi guys! I recently went to Nashville, Tennessee and absolutely loved my experience! Below I share with you the places I went to visit and my thoughts on each place! If you are planning on visiting and don’t know what to do then just keep reading!
Things to do:
-Walk across the Pedestrian Bridge: the view is absolutely amazing! If you go during the afternoon you can catch the sunset, which is completely breath taking!
-Walk the gluch: This is located downtown so there is alot to see! There are a so many cute boutiques including Jessie James Decker new store Kittenish and course Kristen Cavallari’s store Uncommon James. Plus there are SO many great places to eat. Here you will also fine the famous what lifts you wings!
-Walk through Broadway: here you will find all the country music! As you walk around there is music playing in the streets and everything is so lively! I went both during the day time and and at night and the atmosphere was very different but so enjoyable! At night start off at one bar, have a drink and then move your way down the block!
-Visit Uncommon James: Since this is Kristen’s flag ship store you have to go visit! This store is as cute in person as it is on TV! I went in the early afternoon and the place was busy! Not in the super crowded can’t see anything way but in the you know business is doing well kinda of way! The staff was super nice and helpful and offered to take pictures of me in the store! I purchased the cutest little set of angel wing earrings in my opinion perfect for Nashville.
-Have a drink at Pinewood Social: I seriously loved this place! It was very relaxed and fun! This is a restaurant that has a bowling alley in the back! Super cool, I’ve never seen anything like it! So walking in I had to check out the bowling alley and of course take pictures! Then I headed to the bar which was located in the middle of the restaurant. I ordered the Icebox Matinee which has vodka, lemon, pear brandy, cherry, vanilla and clove. This was the perfect afternoon drink, it was light and fruity, my favorite!
Places to Eat!
Breakfast: Biscuit Love – this was such a cute place! i absolutely loved it. there is usually what seems to be a long line, but don’t walk away, it goes by pretty quick! I ordered the Bonuts which are filled with lemon mascarpone cheese and a blueberry filing. Guys this was haven and a totally party in you mouth! Totally worth the wait! I also ordered a mimosa and an omelette that came with a side a sautéed mushrooms and arugula salad! The service was quick and everyone was super friendly! They also had apparel and other souvenirs to purchase!
–Five Daughters Bakery: this is such a cute instagramable little pastry shop! When you first walk up you can the cute white and baby blue house with a sign painted on the wall to your right which says I heart donuts – totally had to stop and take a picture! After easily taking over hundred pictures – i walked in and ordered a coffee (because I can’t function with out it!) Then I walked over to the bakery section and this was the hardest decision I had to make! Everything looked so delicious, it took me a while to pick just one! I ended up going with the croissant style 100 layer vanilla cream donut! Guys can I just say that my mouth is watering just thinking it! This was filled with buttercream filling and vanilla whipped cream on top. Yes, this was a lot of calories BUT they are were all worth it!! So I highly recommend you take a visit to this bakery, you will not be disappointed!
Lunch: Hattie B’s – this place has such good HOT chicken! i was excited to try the southern hot chicken and this place did not disappoint. the place is small but if you get lucky snag a seat! I ordered the chicken tenders with medium heat (i wanted to try the hot but i got nervous that it would be too hot for me eat, so i leveled down. Which was good on my part because the medium was spicy but so good!) i also ordered fires and mac and cheese. i have no idea what is it BUT the mac and cheese was so amazing! It was so rich and super tasty! This is a place you must check out!
–Loveless Cafe: I found this place to be pretty cool. This used to be a restaurant and a motel for travelers along highway 100. What I liked was that the two side buildings were what used to be the old motel rooms but are now shops. the motel is no longer in use but the restaurant sure is! The food is the perfect southern comfort food! I ordered the fried chicken biscuit and my mom ordered the pulled pork BBQ biscuit and guys, we were not disappointed! The biscuits are perfectly cooked, they are light and buttery! True perfection and the best biscuits I have ever had!
Dinner: Whiskey Kitchen – this place is your typical pub but more elevated. They are know of of course the whiskey! the menu has the normal pub food which is perfect with a side of your choice of whiskey drink! So order yourself a good pulled pork bbq sandwich and enjoy your whisky!
Nashville completely blew me away! Everything from the food to the people to the atmosphere was so incredible! This has easily become one of my favorites cities!
Thank you so much for reading and enjoy your next trip to Nashville!
