There is nothing that gets me more excited to start the day than my morning routine.
Starting off the day on the right foot helps set you on track to have a great day! These are some of the things I do to help me start the morning off right and have a productive morning!
Wake up early:
This is super important, I like to wake up early enough to make sure I have me time and do the things that make me feel good without having to rush to get the day started.
Workout:
I’ve been doing a morning workout every day of the week, Monday – Friday, and I can truly say it helps me start my day off right. I feel so good after my workouts & since I do them 1st in the morning I can check that off my list!
The workouts I do are usually between 20 to 30 minutes long. I like move my body and keep it healthy so a quick morning workout is all I need!
Skincare:
This step can be easily over looked. Your morning skincare routine doesn’t have to be a million steps or take you an hour to do! Keep is simple, I like to wash my face with a cleanser, put on eye cream, moisturizer & lip balm, that’s it!
Breakfast:
My breakfasts change daily, sometime I’m in the mood to have a big fulling breakfast & other days I get full off of a couple bits of fruit. I listen to my body and feed it what it’s asking. I always make sure to at least eat something to get my metabolism moving.
Plan your day:
I love to plan my day and see what I have going on. This motivates me to keep working towards my goals and see the progress I’m making. Planning your day first thing in the morning give you direction of where & what you should do with your day. I like to plan my day while I drink my coffee, it’s my me time and it’s absolutely my favorite time of day!
Get ready for the day:
Getting ready for the day after I plan my day gets me motivated to conquer the day! Once I’m done planning my day I know what I have to do which helps me better understand what I should dress for. For example if I have a ton of errands to run I want to make sure I’m comfortable, but if I have to take pictures I need to pull out my best looks!
That’s it! Your morning routine doesn’t need to super packed and you have to do what works for you! If you don’t like to workout 1st thing in the morning that’s ok, adjust your morning routine to what works for you & what you like to do!
