I have been obsessing over matte liquid lipsticks lately, and I totally caved and bought the Kylie Lip Kit in the color Candy K. My first impression when I received my lip kit was that the packaging was well put together. My lip kit came in a black box and the inside had Kylie’s name on it in black and white as well as a note from Kylie thanking me for my purchase. Once I opened my lip kit there was a lip pencil and a matte liquid lipstick. I noticed that the color that was shown online wasn’t the same color in person. I wanted a nude color and Candy K is a more of a dark rose. After applying Candy K on, I loved the way it felt! It wasn’t sticky and it lasted for hours! A couple of days later I discovered this brand called ColorPop which also sells matte liquid lipsticks for so much less then Kylie Cosmetics. I decided to give it a try, and ordered three matte liquid lipstick Trap, Bianca, and Midi all for $18.
When my package arrived it was in a yellow packaging envelope, and inside there was a note from ColorPop thanking me for my purchase. I didn’t really expect much since I didn’t pay much. The first color I tried was Midi, and I was seriously amazed! The color that was shown online was same color on the lips and it felt just like Candy K from Kylie Cosmetics. It was smooth, not sticky and the color payoff was great! I really liked my lip kit from Kylie Cosmetics but if I was on a budget I would go the liquid lipsticks from ColorPop. Not only are they inexpensive but they are really good quality for the price, they are $6 each vs Kylie’s which are $29. I have the links down below to the colors that I purchased and I hope you found this helpful!
