Easy ways to unwind after a long day

It doesn’t matter if it’s Monday or Friday some days are just way to long and stressful. All you want to do is go home, go to sleep and never wake up! Well although that idea does sound great, we can’t just give up. I came up with these simple and easy ways to unwind after a rough day. I love it and I know you will too!

When I get home I like to first get all my makeup off. I use the Simple cleansing facial wipes. I find these wipes to be gentle on my skin as well as remove most if not all my makeup.

Next I like to wash my wash face with the fresh soy face cleanser. This cleanser is rich in amino acids which helps with nourishing the skin as well as having anti aging properties.

After I wash my face I like to jump in the shower. I enjoy taking warm showers because it helps with opening up the pores.

After my shower I like to lather up with my favorite body lotion. I always seem to reach for Sweet Pea by Bath and Body Works.

Then I like to apply a face mask. The one I like to use is the Rose Face Mask by fresh, not only does it smell like roses but it hydrates and tones the skin. I finish off with Smith’s Rosebud Salve lip balm. (Can you tell I like the smell of roses?)

Then I head over to the kitchen to make myself some tea. The tea that I like to drink at night is the Celestial Honey Vanilla Chamomile tea, it is caffeine free which is great before bed.

Sometimes if I feel like I need extra something I like to give myself a pedicure and use my all time favorite nail polish which is fiji by Essie.

Right before bed I like to catch up on some reading to get my mind away from social media and settle down before bed.
