How to be Productive During Quarantine

This new normal can be really challenging trying to try and stay productive.
I definitely found myself struggling to stay productive during this time, but I came up ways to help me stay on track. Below are some of the things I’ve been doing to stay productive during quarantine.

Wake Up Early:
Although I am working from home I have been trying to get up at reasonable hour. I have been waking between 7 and 7:30am. I find this just enough time for me to do my morning routine before I have to start working. This has been really helping me stay productive since I don’t just roll out of bed and go to straight to work.

Workout:
I have found this to be one of the best parts of my day. I have been trying to workout between 3 to 5 time a week. Recently I have been trying a couple of workouts but I so far I’ve been really enjoying Sami Clarke’s videos.

To Do Lists:
I love making to do lists! I feel so accomplished once everything on the list is checked off! I like to make two different lists, one is for things I want to get done this week, but not top priority. The other list is of thing I need to get done, but this can easily become an overwhelming list. So I like to keep this list short with up to 5 tasks.

Plan Out Your Meals:
Planning out your meals not only helps you eat well, but also cuts time on deciding what you’re going to eat.
Breakfast:
Usually I drink a glass of water and black coffee. Since I have been working out more I’ve had a bigger appetite. I been making protein pancakes (recipe is under my recipe highlights on my instagram), smoothies and fruit bowls.
Lunch:
For lunch a love a big salad! This is the perfect meal to not make you sluggish in the afternoon.
Dinner:
For this meal I like to get creative and switch things up. I like to do salmon and veggies, pasta maybe a soup. I like to go on pinterest and look up new recipes.

Me Time:
This is so important! I’ve realized I have to take time to disconnect, and have me time. During this time I have been doing face masks/ hair masks, my nails (which I’m totally obsessed with my gel nail kit) listing to music and podcasts. My favorite podcasts have been gals on the go, love that for you and obvis the morning toast!

These are just some of the things that I have been doing that makes me feel productive and making my new normal feel better! Thank you so much for reading and remember this too shall pass! Let me know what you’re doing to make day productive in the comments below!
