Happy last day of November! With the month coming to an end that only means one thing, colder months! (well at least where I live). When it starts to get colder the less I want to be outside, and the more I try to stay inside and keep warm. I always find that during this time of the year I love taking baths. They’re calming, relaxing and keeps me toasty warm, which is perfect to unwind after a long day. I decided to share with you my top 5 ways to enjoy a perfect bath!
Step 1: Clear everything from your bathtub. This is your time, you want to feel as relaxed as possible.
Step 2: Draw a warm bath. Don’t go for a super hot bath, it’ll make your skin dry and itchy.
Step 3: Create the perfect atmosphere. Gather candles that aren’t to potent, I have the Scentsational Candles in the scent Loving. This scent is very calming it has hints of violet petals, pink plum blossom, honeyed saffron, red berry nectar and musk. Next grab your favorite body soap, my all time favorite is Sultana Of Soap from Lush. This soap is what gets me excited for baths, it literally melts in your hands and has a creamy lather which is so decadent. Lastly, this is optional but place some nice flowers around your tub, this will give it a more relaxing feel and flowers are always a good idea.
Step 4: Grab your favorite drink, wether it be a cup of warm coffee, water with lemon or a glass of wine (or two).
Step 5: Add in some bubbles. This not only is visually appealing but it’s also fun! + it’s totally instagramable!
Those are my 5 ways to draw a relaxing bath! Having you time is so important, it helps clear your mind and is a great de-stresser, so try to take a bath at least once a week or once every other week. Thank you so much for reading!
